In 2019, Banksy opened a unique homewares store called "Gross Domestic Product ™️" in Croydon, London. The store was a creative response to legal action against Banksy by a greeting card company attempting to take legal custody of the artist's name. Banksy used this opportunity to feature thought-provoking items that highlighted significant social issues affecting our world today. The store was a window shopping experience only, with randomly released unsigned screen prints on 50gsm paper 'GDP Rat,' 'GDP Flower Thrower,' and 'Crisis as Usual' given out to children under 16 attending the store.
All Banksy prints are supplied with official Banksy provenance, a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Pest Control Office.
