Banksy designed the bullet-proof vest Stormzy wore during his performance at Glastonbury, according to reveal on Instagram.
In the post, Banksy said he customized it with the Union Jack. Confirming he created the vest, he said it could stop a .45 calibre bullet.
He jokingly added that it was not machine washable.
Bansky wrote in his Instagram post that, “I made a customised stab-proof vest and thought – who could possibly wear this? Stormzy at Glastonbury.”
Later, Stormzy, 25, shared the post on his Twitter account, and added the caption: ”Absolutely f****** speechless.”
Stormzy also said his headline slot was “the greatest night of my life.” He is the first black British solo artist to ever headline Glastonbury, which has been held for almost 50 years.
“Last night I headlined Glastonbury in a stab-proof vest custom made by the greatest, most iconic living artist on planet earth, the one and only BANKSY,” he said on Instagram.
